THREE RACE INSPIRED COLOUR THEMES

The 650S Can-Am is available with a choice of three Can-Am-themed exterior paint schemes, their hand-crafted interiors tailored to match.

The McLaren M1B debuted in the 1966 Can-Am season with distinctive red bodywork. To commemorate that inaugural year, the 650S Can-Am can be specified in Mars Red, a deep metallic finish that perfectly sets off the sculptural bodywork of the Super Series model. Inside, black Nappa leather seats feature Stone Grey Alcantara centres and contrast stitching.

McLaren Orange is the colour most commonly associated with McLaren’s dominant Can-Am years. To pay homage to those extraordinary racers, the 650S Can-Am is offered in Papaya Spark, an eye-catching shade that gives the 650S Can-Am yet more visual impact. Black Nappa leather seats with contrasting blue Alcantara centres and contrast stitching complete the distinctive design.

The 650S Can-Am is offered in Onyx Black exterior paint, for an assertive, stealthy appearance that also recalls a period Can-Am colour scheme. Black leather seats with distinctive red Alcantara centres and contrast stitching feature in the driver-focused interior.

All models feature five-spoke black alloy wheels, and a bonnet, retractable hardtop and Airbrake finished in visual carbon fibre. Distinctive Can-Am-inspired liveries can also be specified.

Inside, heated electric seats, extended carbon fibre trim, a dedication plaque, and a carbon fibre sill complete the comprehensive MSO specification.

CARBON FIBRE BODYWORK

Derived from motorsport innovation, lightweight carbon fibre features extensively throughout the McLaren 650S Can-Am.

CARBON FIBRE BONNET

The carbon fibre bonnet of the 650S Can-Am features stunning weaves of carbon fibre and a deep coating of lacquer for the ultimate finish. Not only does the carbon fibre bonnet create an incredibly striking appearance, but this advanced material also reduces weight for enhanced performance.

CARBON FIBRE AIRBRAKE

Can-Am racers were renowned for their radical aerodynamic innovations. The 650S Can-Am echoes that heritage with an Airbrake finished in carbon fibre. Positioned flush with the bodywork at low speeds, it automatically rises at speed to create extra downforce when required, and dramatically extends under braking to reduce stopping distances.

RACE INSPIRED DETAILS

Die ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber jedem Detail, das einen McLaren ausmacht, spürt man auch beim 650S Can-Am.

The obsessive attention to detail that defines McLaren shines through in the 650S Can-Am.

POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST

A unique exhaust muffler with four circular polished stainless steel outlets creates a deep, powerful soundtrack. The distinctive quad exhaust tips are complemented by a specially commissioned rear grille to complete the look.

CAN-AM-INSPIRED WHEELS

Referencing McLaren’s Can-Am heritage, the alloy wheels feature a black five-spoke design and eye-catching silver rim. The lightweight forged design reduces unsprung mass and improves handling, while Pirelli P-Zero™ Corsa tyres ensure exceptional grip.

AERODYNAMIC FENDER VENTS

Front fender vents add yet more definition to the muscular bodywork, and evacuate turbulent air from the wheel arches. The result is even more grip over the front axle and a more exhilarating drive.

FINISHING TOUCHES

The 650S Can-Am is further defined by subtle yet distinctive finishing touches: a titanium coolant filler cap crowns the twin turbo V8 engine and discreet Can-Am badging features on the carbon fibre side sills.

HAND CRAFTED INTERIOR

A portfolio of bespoke interiors combine the ultimate in luxury with motorsport-inspired Alcantara and carbon fibre finishes.
