THE BRUCE McLAREN STORY

A MAVERICK BLUEPRINT

EPISODE 5: FROM HANDS & MINDS

Bruce built more than cars. He created a culture where people could do their best work. Engineers and mechanics were trusted to challenge convention and take ownership.

What mattered wasn’t just what was built, but the mindset behind it. A mindset built on resilience. On relentless ambition. To do whatever it takes.

“Life is measured in achievements, not years alone.”

Bruce McLaren

BRUCE McLAREN'S LIFE WAS EXTRAORDINARY.

From growing up above his family’s Service Station in Auckland to overcoming a childhood illness, he developed a relentless mindset. He became the youngest Formula 1 Grand Prix winner of his time, proving progress comes from stepping up. More than a driver, he built a racing team grounded in collaboration and shared pursuit.

Bruce died aged 32, but his impact endures - measured not in years, but in what he built and set in motion for McLaren today.
