McLaren 570S Coupe

570S

Lighter, Stronger, Faster

Accelerate from standstill and the McLaren 570S Coupé will reach 100km/h (62mph) in just 3.2 seconds and get to 200km/h (124mph) in a staggering 9.5 seconds. But it’s the way it makes you feel as it delivers those figures that’s so crucial. It immerses you in the experience, connects you to the road and engages your senses completely.

3.8-Litre V8 Engine

The all-aluminium twin-turbocharged engine is mounted extremely low in the chassis for enhanced agility. Torque is served progressively over an incredibly broad powerband, encouraging the driver to use all 8500rpm. A stop-start system seamlessly shuts down the engine when stationary, improving efficiency and refinement.

7-Speed Gearbox

The seven-speed seamless-shift gearbox can be used in Auto mode for maximum convenience, or controlled via steering-wheel-mounted rocker-shift paddles for manual gear selection.

McLaren 570S Coupe
Exhaust

The 570S Coupé features a louder exhaust sound compared to the 540C and 570GT. For an even more potent growl, a Sports Exhaust is available as an option and provides a stunning soundtrack to the car’s performance.

Brake Steer

A McLaren Formula 1™ innovation, brake steer further enhances handling and safety, and subtly applies a braking force to the inside wheels during cornering for peerless agility.

Fitted as standard on the 570S Coupé, the carbon ceramic brakes come with front calipers operated by a six-piston unit. The calipers are finished in gloss black with silver McLaren text as standard. Alternative brake caliper colours can be selected as a cost option.

Active Dynamics Panel

The IRIS-based McLaren Track Telemetry records lap and section times, plus vehicle data, and relays it on the touchscreen display. GPS maps any circuit or timed section. Sectors are automatically defined and split-times displayed along with red and green sections to compare performance. As an option for extra analysis, three track cameras can cover front and rear views.

Advanced Chassis Systems

Controlled via the Active Dynamics Panel, adaptive suspension can be optimised in Normal, Sport and Track modes. Normal cushions urban imperfections to provide unrivalled comfort; Sport reduces body roll and is ideal for sinuous roads; race-circuit-optimised Track maximises the sense of connection between road and driver.

Track Pack

The Track Pack, available to order immediately, is designed to deliver enhanced levels of driver engagement for owners who enjoy occasional track day activity without any compromise to the car’s all-round usability.

Visually, the aerodynamics of the Track Pack are enhanced for circuit performance with the inclusion of a 12mm higher rear wing that boosts the already high cornering downforce by an additional 29kg at 150mph, enhancing stability in the fastest of corners. Other Track Pack visual clues include a McLaren Special Operations roof finish in Dark Palladium, and stealth-finish Sports exhaust.

Already the most powerful and lightest car in its class, the McLaren 570S Coupé with Track Pack tips the scales at 25kg less than the coupé in standard form. This weight reduction is made possible by a lightweight interior package with Alcantara replacing leather for the seats, dashboard and steering wheel covering, plus the introduction of carbon-fibre racing seats with circuit-proven lateral location. This delivers the most rewarding cabin environment for the driver to exploit the car’s capabilities to the full – including its acceleration from 0-124mph in 9.4 seconds and 204mph top speed.

In recognition of the increased time the McLaren 570S Coupé with Track Pack is likely to spend on circuits, the package includes the ultimate must-have of McLaren’s Track Telemetry system, as also used on the McLaren 675LT and McLaren P1TM. The system provides real-time information, such as lap times, sector splits and comparisons between drivers, as well as post-drive analysis and data-logging with graphical plots of vehicle speed and lap-time deltas.

Mechanically, the McLaren 570S Coupé with Track Pack remains unchanged from the 570PS (562bhp) Sports Series coupe, with its class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 434PS per tonne, standard carbon-ceramic discs and sports car handling that includes Track mode.
