THE 73RD GOODWOOD MEMBERS' MEETING

We go behind the scenes as a record-breaking grid of McLaren F1 GTRs is assembled at Goodwood.

The Goodwood Members’ Meeting is a spectacular motorsport event, recreating the atmosphere and competitive spirit of the original British Automobile Racing Club Members’ Meetings, held at the Goodwood racing circuit in England throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

The 73rd Members’ Meeting, held on 21-22 March, boasted everything from Formula 1™ racing cars to Group C endurance prototypes. And the 2015 event was a particularly special one for McLaren, as not only was the company’s founder honoured with the inaugural Bruce McLaren Trophy for Can-Am sports cars, but the event also featured the largest ever gathering of McLaren F1 GTRs.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR’s historic victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, 16 racing examples (of a total of only 28 ever built) were at the famous West Sussex circuit throughout the weekend, with many taking part in high-speed demonstration runs on both days.

Join us as we go behind the scenes at the largest ever gathering of McLaren F1 GTRs.
