Nothing compares to the thrill of driving a supercar on ice. Now McLaren is offering the chance of a lifetime, to experience the 570S on a frozen lake 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle, in the ultimate test of both car and driver.
Have you ever wondered what it might be like to drive a McLaren on ice? It’s one of the toughest, most rewarding driving experiences anywhere in the world, and now for the first time McLaren is offering the opportunity to push its 570S Coupé to the limit – and beyond – in the stunning setting of Ivalo, Northern Finland.
You’ll learn how to keep the car balanced in the perfect arc, power slide across a frozen lake, and tackle a variety of challenging ice and snow tracks, accompanied by a team of professional coaches providing one-on-one tuition. The McLaren Ice Driving Centre is based within an expansive proving ground dedicated to winter testing, with an incredible variety of courses that will see you rapidly develop your abilities. The car control skills you’ll discover here are exactly the same as those used by a generation of rally drivers and racing champions, but this frozen adventure is not limited to providing thrills just at the track.
When you’ve finished honing your driving technique, the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience also includes a moonlit snowmobile expedition and a husky trek into the picturesque wilderness. You’ll be staying in the stunning Presidential Jávri lodge, which should also provide the perfect chance to view the Northern Lights.
This unique driving experience has limited spaces and is being held from January 18th to February 6th 2017. To discover more about how to reserve your place, visit:
